Antichrist Revealed

In most recent time it has become rampantly clear that the institution of the Catholic Church is the seat for the Antichrist, the man of sin. Their beliefs and doctrines outline the concept which the Antichrist will bring to the world. They have ordained men to forgive sin and they worship and pray to dead men and women - Peter, Paul, Mary - to name a few. The Bible clearly states that the only person who can forgive sin is Jesus Christ, and that we should not refer to any man (who is a sinner like you and me) as Holy Father. What surprises me the most is the fact that they must be aware of the teachings of the Bible and especially the one concerning the Antichrist, how come they don't figure it out that it points to their doctrine and beliefs? It is a clear representation of the fact that prophesy usually fulfills and most people are unaware of it until its too late. Is it that the Devil has the hearts of men so rapped up in themselves that the truth has almost no bearing on them? The end is nearer than the last time you heard it was near. I have come to realize that God's coming will be bitter sweet, most of the people on earth will be lost and that for them the coming of God will be too soon. As for the saints of God, His coming will be just on time. I watch and listen to the news daily because that's where I see most of prophesy being fulfilled. It is evident though that every day we should remember the fact that the Lord is coming again, we can't live like it doesn't matter. Today I read in the news that they want to take the subject of Intelligent Design out of schools and also the Bible. The urgency of the times are being overlooked by the populous.

The Antichrist!??

Its interesting to see how much evidence the Bible puts out for us to know the real truth. I am watching a seminar on the Antichrist Chronicles by Steve Wholberg right now, some people believe that the Antichrist will be openly the Antichrist but like Judas who was with Jesus himself he ended up being an Antichrist. The Antichrist will be in the church and he will be subtle like Judas who was among the twelve. Reading 1 & 2 Thesolonians, especially 2 Thes. 2 vs. 3 onward, it outlines how the son of perdition will behave. Their are alot of false teachings out there. Everybody cannot be right, its impossible, there is only right and real truth. Interpretations also is a cause for the comfusion in so called Bible believing christians. The steps outlined in these versus states that the Anitchrist will be in the temple (which the greek word used in the original text before translation, Naos, which also talks about the church being the temple of God you and I). With this in mind the temple here refers to the church, the Antichrist will be in the church and will have authority in it also (as it speaks about sit in the church, seat means authority - eg. Bush was seated in the White House as president). The Antichrist is here now - 2 Thes. 2:5-7 Paul states that he told the church and they knew what is holding back the Antichrist. It isn't said out clear what the restrainer for the Antichrist was but in early writings of the elders during that time period, the Restrainer was the Roman Empire (that makes sense why Paul didn't write it in his letter to the Church at Thesolonica in fear that it would fall in the Roman's hand and the church be persicuted further). The Roman Empire is long been destroyed. If all this is true then, the Antichrist is here now. Who then is the Antichrist? He would be in the church now and have authority. What amazes me about Bible prophecy is that it's always too late for the majority to realize the fact that they are going through prophecy. It's at the end later that they realize, "hey, that was prophecy being fulfilled."

Habbits!?

Smoking and drinking is bad for your health, in almost all the diseases that I have read up on most times they tell you to avoid smoking and drinking. I use to smoke and drink but I quit smoking before I left high school and I quit drinking when I graduated from college. The Bible states that we should take care of our bodies because it's the temple of God. Smoking, I must say, was the hardest of the two habbits I had to drop. It was so addictive, I had to hide my habbit from my grandma so in the nights just to fall asleep peacefully I would smell my fingers, which would have on the cigarette residue, to calm the crave. During my quitting stage once I was walking down the street and a guy was coming towards me with a cigarette, I knew I was still weak to the aroma so I crossed over to the opposite side just to avoid passing him and arousing the urge. I am no longer a slave to drinking or smoking, thank God, now I find them dirty and repulsive. It's funny though, serious funny that is, that we are slave to habbits that destroy us physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally. I want to be a slave to good things only, things pleasing in the sight of God.

Malice!

I never really thought about the fact that people might not like me and still talk to me like everything is fine, or they have an issue with me and hold it in and don't mention it to me. It eventually comes out though, I have come to find out, which happens at awkward times and places. It is surprising though when someone lashes out at you because of something you did to them along time ago which if you think about it it would be the last thing in the world you think someone would be upset about. But it goes to show the diversity we have to deal with on this planet. What I will not accept or can't appreciate is the fact that the person carried it for so long without saying a word and then look at me and call me friend. I use to be very "sharp", if this stunt was pulled on me 3 yrs ago I would have just said you are right and never put myself in the position to speak to that person again. But allowing Christ to lead us we can't do those things, the feeling I had wasn't to do that but I remembered the old me and he would not have any of that. I had to use a kind word and try and turn away the wrath as the Bible says. As friends to other people its cruel and unkind to behave like that, the world doesn't revolve around us. I hope and pray that I will be a good friend to those who call me friend and to those I call friend. A friend sticks closer than a brother.

Darkness...Light!

Each day I am constantly reminded that the coming of God is near. The trials on everyhand, it is clearly stated in Mattew chapter 24 that what is happening now will happen before the Lord returns. It is hard not to see the Bible prophecies fulfilling before our eyes, we have to deliberately shrug off these warnings to not take them seriously. It is dangerous to just live like the end is never coming, like we can't die at any moment in time. It is a constant struggle for our souls each day, between the Holy Ghost and the Devil. What is happening in the US now resulting from Hurricane Katrina would never have been dreamed of by almost everyone, the most richest country in the world suffering like that. Asking for aid. I believe that 9/11 was the turning point in Earth's history, it was a clear marker for the coming of changing times and laws as the Bible predicted. It is unlawful in some countries to speak truth from the Bible or it might be seen as preaching hate (homosexuality is wrong). It is wrong to use God's words and laws. Where is the light in the darkness, the Bible is clear and true and as Psalms 119:105 states; "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." The spiraling effects of natural disasters and man made problems are happening in such rapid succession. Yet we hold fast to what is true.

HOPE!

The disaster in the US now caused by hurricane Katrina is testament that the Bible prophecies are correct and true. They are looting, raping, robbing, all type of lawless behaviour you can think off. It's testament of how people will change either for the worst or the best in desperate times. Today's post probably parallels my post from yesterday, we have to ask God to lead us in everything we do and say. Where to live, to be with us on the roads, to guide our thoughts and speech, to guide everything we do no matter how small it seems. Disaster can strike anytime anywhere, hope is what will take us through. I ask God daily to take good care of my family, friends, and neighbours, in general I ask Him to take care of His people. I pray that the good people in this disaster stricken area will come out unarmed and full of hope, that the best will come out of them and not the worst. God has blessed us tremendously, without Him we would be lost, discernment, wisdom, and understanding should be apart of our daily prayers. I thank God He has spared me thus far and the ones I love. Keep holding on, strength only comes from God.

Mean People

People are evil, that's too broad a statement I know, many people are evil. To reach the top many of us use and step on others to get what we want. We manipulate and sneak around people to achieve what we desire. Some of us do it deliberately and others its just in our blood to be conniving. People these days are allowing the devil to lead them and thus they make life difficult for those who are trying to live right. It's a fact that people will be going to Hell and people will be going to Heaven, the same people we are amongst now - some going to Hell and some going to Heaven. It's not our position to judge. It's hard to be nice to someone who wants to hurt you or who has hurt you, only God can make you truly forgiving. My stance is this; even if you forgive someone that doesn't change them, they might still want to hurt you and your family and may do it again. So how do you truly forgive someone who is not truly sorry? God have to be in you. I hope God will be in me so I can truly forgive but I certainly won't be foolish or naive, I will also ask God for discernment to open my eyes to the truth if the person is truly sorry or not. In these troubled times people are more selfish, more mean, basically they are more evil. Let us not be one to perpetuate evil and to be unkind to someone else and make life hareder for them than it already is. As God blesses us we should also be a blessing to others.
