Habbits!?
Smoking and drinking is bad for your health, in almost all the diseases that I have read up on most times they tell you to avoid smoking and drinking. I use to smoke and drink but I quit smoking before I left high school and I quit drinking when I graduated from college. The Bible states that we should take care of our bodies because it's the temple of God. Smoking, I must say, was the hardest of the two habbits I had to drop. It was so addictive, I had to hide my habbit from my grandma so in the nights just to fall asleep peacefully I would smell my fingers, which would have on the cigarette residue, to calm the crave. During my quitting stage once I was walking down the street and a guy was coming towards me with a cigarette, I knew I was still weak to the aroma so I crossed over to the opposite side just to avoid passing him and arousing the urge. I am no longer a slave to drinking or smoking, thank God, now I find them dirty and repulsive. It's funny though, serious funny that is, that we are slave to habbits that destroy us physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally. I want to be a slave to good things only, things pleasing in the sight of God.

I think that's awesome. God Bless You!
Been there done that. Recall walking slowly behind a guy inhaling as he exhaled with a smile on my face. I laugh now but it wasn't easy letting go.
